Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or engaging Gallery One for the purchase of artworks or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or engage our services.

Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that breaches applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations, or that is fraudulent, harmful, or offensive. Unauthorised reproduction of any content from this site is prohibited.

Artwork Sales

Descriptions and Accuracy

Gallery One makes every effort to describe artworks accurately, including dimensions, media, date of creation, and provenance where known. These descriptions are provided in good faith. Minor variations in colour, finish, or dimension from online representations are possible.

Pricing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. A quoted price is not binding until confirmed in a written sale agreement.

Payment

Full payment is required to confirm a sale unless a separate instalment arrangement has been agreed in writing with Gallery One. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of purchase. Title to an artwork does not pass to the buyer until full payment has been received.

Delivery and Collection

Artworks may be collected from the gallery during opening hours once full payment has cleared. Delivery within India and internationally can be arranged; applicable handling, packing, insurance, and shipping charges will be communicated in advance and are the responsibility of the buyer. Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon handover to the carrier.

Title and Ownership

Legal title to any artwork passes to the buyer only upon receipt of full payment. Until that time, Gallery One retains title to the work regardless of physical possession.

Intellectual Property

The purchase of an artwork does not transfer copyright. All reproduction rights remain with the artist or the artist's estate. The buyer acquires ownership of the physical object only. Any reproduction, publication, or commercial use of an artwork requires written permission from the copyright holder.

Advisory and Appraisal Services

Any advisory opinion, valuation, or appraisal is provided in good faith and reflects our professional judgement at the time of delivery. It does not constitute a guarantee of current or future market value. Gallery One accepts no liability for investment decisions made on the basis of our advisory services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gallery One's total liability to any party in connection with a transaction shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the relevant artwork or service. Gallery One shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss.

Force Majeure

Gallery One shall not be in breach of these terms if it is unable to perform any obligation due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

Amendments

Gallery One reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of a transaction shall govern that transaction.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurgaon, Haryana.
