Return Policy

We want every acquisition to be one you treasure. Please read our policy before completing a purchase.

All Sales Are Final

As is standard in the art market, all sales by Gallery One are considered final. Original artworks, limited-edition prints, and sculptures are not eligible for return or refund once the sale has been confirmed and payment received.

We strongly encourage prospective buyers to view works in person at the gallery, request additional photographs or condition reports, and seek our advisory team's guidance before committing to a purchase.

Damage in Transit

Gallery One takes great care in the packaging and shipping of every work. In the unlikely event that an artwork arrives damaged:

  • You must notify us in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Please retain all original packaging and provide photographic evidence of the damage to both the artwork and the packaging.
  • We will assess the damage and work with you and our insurance provider to reach an appropriate resolution, which may include restoration, exchange, or refund at our discretion.

Claims made after 48 hours of receipt cannot be accepted.

Commission and Bespoke Works

Commissioned and bespoke artworks are non-returnable and non-refundable. The terms of any commission — including subject, dimensions, materials, and payment schedule — are agreed in writing before work commences. A deposit paid upon commissioning is non-refundable.

Restoration and Appraisal Services

Fees for restoration assessments, appraisals, and advisory consultations are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.

Exchanges

Gallery One does not offer exchanges as a matter of course. In exceptional circumstances, exchange requests may be considered at the sole discretion of Gallery One management, subject to the availability of an equivalent work and written agreement by both parties.
